This list of characteristics is simply a guide to how one author sees the character of LindseyMcDonald. It's opinion, not fact, and should not be taken as criticism towards anyone with a differing viewpoint.
My Lindsey...
- has been getting laid since he was about fifteen.
- has been drinking possibly longer than that.
- wasn't drawn to the law for anything more than a way to be the one on the other side of the paperwork when houses got taken.
- dreamed about becoming powerful and rich and getting back at the bastards who took his, right up until he met Holland Manners.
- can still remember every detail of the two siblings who died that winter.
- keeps tabs on the other three, even if they don't know he's doing it.
- still hates his father for signing over the house.
- still sends his mother money every month.
- would have gladly slept with a rich girl (or boy) to get out of having to work so damn much through college.
- wouldn't have slept with a professor for grades.
- slept with Lilah. More than once.
- slept with his secretary. More than once. And had her transferred if she thought it was more than just sex.
- slept with Faith. And got her off as promised.
- preferred his boots and jeans to the custom tailored suits and hand made shoes.
- loves his truck, company car or no company car.
- would probably have gone back to W&H after working with Angel, even if Angel hadn't been such a dick to him.
- possibly believed that having Holland take him back meant he was one up on the Senior Partners.
- was in way too deep to realize how stupid that belief really was.
- was obsessed with Angel long before Darla came along.
- was devoted to Darla as a means to getting back at Angel. At first.
- really didn't mean to fall in love with her, and was surprised to find out he had no control over that part of himself.
- kicks himself to this day when he realizes he could have had her a hundred times, and in the end it wouldn't have changed a thing for either of them.
- was still getting laid when he had the time and inclination, despite his remark to Darla that there was no one in his life.
- isn't sure just when he developed his deathwish or his vampire obsession, but still has it.
- would have died happily in the cellar with Darla, if she'd been the one to kill him.
- would have watched her kill Lilah, just as happily.
- hates that Lilah knew how hard he fell for Darla, and wonders if she suspected the Angel issues, too.
- had more UST with Angel than any character, ever. Including Darla.
