Holland looks nothing like Lindsey's daddy but that same smug tone is there when he talks to him in their one-on-one sessions. Lindsey's daddy never smiled; Holland always does. Their eyes are the same though, distant and cold. Looking through Lindsey and not at him.

Sometimes, more often since the incident with Darla, Lindsey thinks about the belt his daddy favored when he was teaching what he called 'a hard lesson.' He thinks it would feel just about perfect to wrap that leather around his hand, swing it high and bring it down hard.

He wants to see Holland bleed.
